Does Ning provide the ability to create "dynamic" pages using tags ?

For instance, let's say I have:
- - - - - - - -

20 photos total
10 photos are tagged with "fruit" and...
10 photos are tagged with "veggies"

20 articles total
10 articles are tagged with "fruit" and...
10 articles are tagged with "veggies"

I want to create a link from the home page, called 'Fruit'... and another called 'Veggies'
When the user clicks the Fruit link... they're taken to a page with:
the 10 photos tagged with "fruit" and...
the 10 articles are tagged with "fruit"

- - - - - - - -

HOW CAN I DO THIS ?
THANKS !

(this is, of course a simplistic example - but you get the point)

Not possible.

How about something this using blogs

http://yourning.com/profiles/blog/list?q=veggies

maybe i just don't understand what you want but this works for me if I make a tab and have the tab show the photos found in a search

/photo/photo/search?q=apples

In order to create my "tag stream" methods, here's what I did.

Opened "tabs and pages" from settings, create new tab, name it "fruit."

in the options, click "page points to" and "other address."

put this in...

Thanks for the replies.

I believe this while grab *ONLY* photos, is that right ?
What I'm interested in doing is having photos... *AND* videos... *AND* articles...  displayed on the page. It doesn't sound like Ning provides that facility though ?

Yes, you are right. Like I said, not possible.

However, this is possible if you use search tag each of your photos, blogs and videos with the word fruit and veggie

http://yourning.com/main/search/search?q=fruit%2C+veggie%2C+

hi doone -

i can't get to either of the URL's you posted.

can you check that... or - describe what you're suggesting ?

THANKS

they are not actual url;s, i changed the words I searched for to something that used your words, hence the name of the site was yourning.com

Here is an example that i use

http://swmm2000.com/profiles/blog/list?q=GROUNDWATER

and one more example with tags that are meaningful to me

http://swmm2000.com/main/search/search?q=venant%2C+node

Doone - It looks like this approach returns content via keyword hits rather than just tag hits.

So, if an article *does* have the word 'fruit' in it... but is *not* tagged with the term 'fruit'.... then it *will* be returned  (which is not what I want).

Is that right ?

THANKS

maybe this helps but the above will find all blogs with a tag of fruit
