For the new chat - where does that code go - on the page as HTML? and is just that? nothing else. I couldn't get it to work.
Thanks for any additional info!
Christine

Hi Christina,
This code is for the other pages to show you chat room.
Very Simple, easy and cool Steps:
Step one: Copy and paste the following code into notepad.
Step two: Replace your network url
Step three: Copy and paste the code into any page you want. You are done.
<iframe src="http://YOURNINGUR/chat/index/popOutWindowV4" name="Chat" scrolling="no" frameborder="no" align="center" height="450px" width="450px" id="Chat"></iframe>
Permalink Reply by frank zeno on February 12, 2012 at 7:37pm i did it it works great thanks. Now here's my next question is there a way to set up different rooms with different chats going on??? This would be huge for my site as it is a tattoo site and I would be able to let people chat about certain styles of tattoos etc. in differnt rooms

Not this time...ning doesn't have that kinda feature...
Permalink Reply by frank zeno on February 13, 2012 at 8:23pm will this be possibly considered in the near future? There are so many possibilities for my site if this could happen.
Thanks,
frank
Permalink Reply by Willh on November 25, 2012 at 10:43am HI Bernard thanks for this tip however I was wonder if it is possible to embed the ning chat option onto our website, but to display it like on the ning network as a bottom right pop out window ? (or like the gmail chat box if you prefer) I hope you will be able to help us. Thanks :)

Is there a way to embed the chat in a specific page.... but NOT showing it in the bottom of the all network ???
Thanks ! :-)
Permalink Reply by Christine Agro on February 13, 2012 at 7:17am Do you mean so that you have a large chat page?
I created a tab and just pointed the page to yourningurl/chat
Works great - nice large chat space.
And if you wanted to remove it from the bottom footer - then just go to features layout and remove it from the template. I keep both though. The footer chat is great for casual hellos, but I do a monthly chat where I answer questions for members, so the larger chat space works better for that.
Permalink Reply by Chris Comish on March 1, 2012 at 11:56pm I could get it removed from the main page by doing this, but when I went to other pages/tabs, the new chat was still in the footer. Any thoughts?
