Sounds awesome, can you share how you did it so we can all have a go?
I've used TJ's code that gives members pre-defined tags to add to blogs, but if you could share the "algorithm that went through all of the blogs and analyzed them for the sub-tags" and how you add subtags then that would be great.
Wow, just what I needed today. You guys are great. I've found search in Ning to be quite useless!
I'm guessing that some of this is because much of our content was originally created within private groups. Our community groups are now open, but I'm assuming the search engine never indexed the old private content...maybe? Trying to give Ning the benefit of the doubt here. I'd like to better understand what Ning search is searching.
Either way, the standardized tagging taxonomy efforts described above by Sara Estes could really benefit us as well.
