this is alot simpler then the css animation tips i posted recently..in fact this is a really simple one
just wanted to highlight the dates on the events to make them stand out a lil more
so just added a border, box shadow (but inside, not outside the box) and some padding (oh yea and a lil corner rounding)
real simple
really simple code but really makes the daytes stand out more i think
u can leave or remove the hover part if you want..just added that as i'm writing this
div.module_events div.xg_module_body div.wrap div.dategroup {border:thin solid #999; box-shadow:inset #CCC 10px 10px 13px; padding:10px 2px 4px 0; border-radius:8px 2px 2px 6px; }
div.module_events div.xg_module_body div.wrap div.dategroup:hover {box-shadow:#CCC 4px 4px 4px;}

Permalink Reply by Armani Rouse on June 25, 2012 at 12:59pm that padding code totally worked dude youre the fucking man! lol now if we can get all the corners rounded...im set! also I have something to stir your dreads up a bit lol how would I go about creating a new navigation? the ning one is cool but Id like to have a side navigation like the ustream button on my home page that follows you as you scroll the page and whne you click it it pops out for you to sign in and stream videos thru ustream...id like to have that as my navigation and when you click it all the tabs I currently have would drop down from that one main side tab....can you do it?

Permalink Reply by soaringeagle on June 25, 2012 at 1:40pm not before i go away i cant thats for sur and thats not going to be easy it would be better to ask 1 of the jquerry gurus
and like i said to round the rest of the corners change some og=f the 0's to 25px's
so where it said border radius 25px 0 0 0 0 the positions are top left top right bottom right bottom left so 25 25 0 0 would round top 2 25 25 25 25 all 4 (or just use 25px if u use 1 its applied to all 4)
but for some u dont want all 4 i think so footer round the bottoms 0 0 25 25 header 25 25 0 0 (remember anything but 0 needs px )
Permalink Reply by Armani Rouse on June 25, 2012 at 2:54pm still a bit confused lol but I'm looking at the code now theres a lot of 0's! lol

Permalink Reply by soaringeagle on June 25, 2012 at 3:36pm 25px is round 0 is squared
Permalink Reply by Armani Rouse on June 25, 2012 at 3:03pm it worked! lol and your absolutely right I need a jquery friend now lol...hows about that code for the blogs on your site? When you hover over one of them they kinda pop out at ya! lol I love it and would like to apply this to my latest activity section so that when my members hover over a status for instance it pops up like on your site...any help there?
