I currently have about 1000 images on my genealogy site. (www.hinsonroots.org) that I need to move to my Family Tree which is hosted on another site. Is there any way to export the photos, with title and description?

I've sent in a couple of help requests to the help desk over the past 2-3 weeks but as of yet have not received a response.

Hi Steve,

I would need to verify, but I believe that friendships are included; I know that each photo contains its privacy state; and I don't believe that private messages are included.

Thanks,
Phil
Phil, how long should it 'normally' take for NING to get the export package ready for download? I've been waiting about two weeks now.
Hi Jerry,

I haven't been directly involved in the current export process, so I can't really give you any guidance there. I do know though that it's a manual process and involves setting aside some engineering time.

We will be building the process directly into the network and automating it; I know that's no help to you in this case, but it means that others who want to export their content in the near future will have an easier time of it.
Thanks Phil; just anxious to get my content so I can figure out how to import it to the new site :)
Thanks Phil. The friendships were the big one followed by the privacy options. The private messages were less important.

Are you dialing "00" first? It should be 00-1-650-289-9344.

Yes. I´m doing that. But of I get an answering machine of it doesn't start reciving the fax. I'm trying several times now without a result. Can't I just mail it?
Alejandra; yes, you can mail it. The address can be found on the help page. http://help.ning.com/?faq=3772
Oeps...... I wrote mail when I ment email.
But thanks anyway. It was kind of you
LOL...no problem. I don't think you can email it since they need a physical copy of your signature rather than a digital sig.
Can't I use my scan in stead?.
Hier in Holland cost almost 7 euro to send a fax if you don't have one at home. And I've try it several times without succes.

Any way I do it, it wil be a copy of my signature so why not scan the letter and then email it.
