Exporting list of Groups?

Anyone know how to export a list of groups, say in csv or other format? I know we can do that with members but how about Groups?

Hi Doug,

This is something I am actually really good at. Not only can I get you the list of groups but I can also get you the URL for each group, the latest activity date, total members and group description for each group as part of that csv. It will take less than 10 minutes to do.

Sounds great. Right now my network is new (3 months, 200 members, 32 groups) If possible would you share how you do it? Groups will be a major part of my network as it grows and I like keeping tabs on network stats.

If you'd like me to do a quick one time group export I don't mind doing that because that will take like 10 minutes (it's pretty quick since I've done all the groundwork ahead of time).

However, if you'd like me to train you how to do this on your own network that will take more than 10 minutes in which case I'd suggest you join my Network Creators support site. I believe this creates a mutually supportive relationship where I can support you in the future with any updates/support or developing network improvement projects and you support me with my being able to afford taking the time to work on projects like this.

I hope you understand and that this doesn't offend. The choice completely yours. I'm fine with whatever you chose. And if you find another way of doing this that's fine too.

Hi Garfield, I'm also interested in getting the list of groups of my network in a csv with those details. Could you share how to do it? I have more than 1000 groups in my network lokobeer.com and having its groups list in csv would help me to manage them.
