New Developer Alert: February 2013 Breaking Changes
If a New Developer Alert arrived in your inbox, you'll want to update your Sign-up and Sign-in App on Facebook. Don't worry--It's easy!
You got the note because Facebook is doing away with Authenticated Referrals and removing the ability to post to a friends wall via the Graph API. You can see all of Facebook's "breaking changes" here.
Facebook says that these changes will be "permanently enabled for all apps in 1 day on Tuesday, February 5, 2013," which leads me to believe that you could get away without taking any action, but there's no need to take a chance. It is easy to update your app:
The "enabled" app performed well on February 3rd. If you run into any issues with the update on February 6th, let us know.
Steps 1 & 2
Step 3
Steps 4-6

Permalink Reply by Allison Leahy on February 4, 2013 at 10:27am If the Facebook social sign-in feature is activated on your network, it must have been created using a different Facebook account. You can point the admin who created it to this post. If you're not using Facebook social sign-in, you won't be impacted by this update.
Permalink Reply by FedMedic on February 4, 2013 at 12:49pm Allison, I no longer have the account I used to establish my Facebook social sign in feature. YIKES!!
Now what do I do?
Permalink Reply by Allison Leahy on February 4, 2013 at 2:15pm You can create a new Facebook Sign Up/Sign In app, then replace the App Key and Secret on your network with the new codes.
Facebook may auto-update everyone come Wednesday morning, but it's probably a good idea to establish a new connection with your new Facebook account. Surprised that old one is still working for you!
Permalink Reply by FedMedic on February 4, 2013 at 3:55pm It won't let me create a new one. It's still somehow operating somehow on the old one. Go figure. Anyhoo, here's the screenshot I get.
But when I go to "edit or delete app" it gives me this page: https://developers.facebook.com/apps/143761785648094/summary
