Hello everyone, finally the time has come for me to share my work on Ning. I have spent many sleepless nights working on this - I have even given up at times but convinced myself to come back to the site and continue. This obviously is not a one man project, I have worked with very smart developers and designers from this site and outside Creators for the more grueling coding and development. Check us out here - www.consultoclock.com
Consult O'clock is a social network for business professionals with the added functionality of 'Jobs' (check out the tab on my network).
Consult O'clock Jobs (http://consultoclock.com/jobs) is a global online employment platform. Clients can hire independent consultants and use our communities and resources to share, learn and collaborate. Consultants use the social network features to create online profiles and portfolios, submit proposals for jobs, and collaborate and receive payment through the Consult O'clock website for projects they have worked on.
I would appreciate any and all feedback. Also, if you would like to register and play around - even try out the 'bidding' functionality of our Jobs page, go ahead and register, I will approve with no hesitation.

Thanks. Having looked at it before from a design perspective, I will take a look at the substance of it now!
Permalink Reply by dave on July 21, 2012 at 6:51am I love your website Hadi, just 1 question, how did you put the Give Feed Back floating bar on your site.. this would be great for my sight would you consider sharing how you did this :-)
Thanks Dave.

For my site I use http://www.webreep.com/ easy to configure and you can ask multiple questions in a form and customise the button. Check it out.

Permalink Reply by HELP SEEKER on July 21, 2012 at 3:28pm i like it, very professionally done, especially the advert. let me add my 2 marketing cents (even if my opinions are normally getting harassed here)
basically in the very populated online business networking world, it is very imporatnt for a new site to have a niche. my advise would be to change 'social network for business professionals' in to a different (more niche) headline , like 'business platform for consulting professionals', 'professional consulting network' or so on.
what i mean, that is 'business' not generally consist of the consulting only, there is financing, marketing, execution etc
Permalink Reply by Hadi Hosn on July 21, 2012 at 4:39pm Hi HELP SEEKER, thanks for your input. I honestly think your marketing comment was good. I have been back and forth on the niche and the name of the site - overall I honestly think I want to target all business professionals (consultants and clients in any area of business). The niche I have here is that in addition to the social networking feature of sharing, collaborating and learning I give clients the ability to post their project requirements on my site and consultants the ability to bid on projects and make some extra cash through my application. If I limit my website to just consultants - I can easily lose the job bidding feature if my members are all consultants.
