Hello everyone, finally the time has come for me to share my work on Ning. I have spent many sleepless nights working on this - I have even given up at times but convinced myself to come back to the site and continue. This obviously is not a one man project, I have worked with very smart developers and designers from this site and outside Creators for the more grueling coding and development. Check us out here - www.consultoclock.com
Consult O'clock is a social network for business professionals with the added functionality of 'Jobs' (check out the tab on my network).
Consult O'clock Jobs (http://consultoclock.com/jobs) is a global online employment platform. Clients can hire independent consultants and use our communities and resources to share, learn and collaborate. Consultants use the social network features to create online profiles and portfolios, submit proposals for jobs, and collaborate and receive payment through the Consult O'clock website for projects they have worked on.
I would appreciate any and all feedback. Also, if you would like to register and play around - even try out the 'bidding' functionality of our Jobs page, go ahead and register, I will approve with no hesitation.

Permalink Reply by Hadi Hosn on July 19, 2012 at 11:38am Thank you Armani. I have been trying to target all business professionals. I started at small businesses and consultants interacting but thought this could be wider and could include anyone in a business professional capacity.
I'm glad you liked it :) Good luck in your endeavors as well.
Permalink Reply by Jon Draper on July 19, 2012 at 9:43am Hey... this looks great. Lots of customisation there. Really impressed and it makes me want to tweak my site so so much more.
One thing, the blogs tab is currently empty... it might be worth adding a few things in there.
Good luck
Jon
Permalink Reply by Hadi Hosn on July 19, 2012 at 11:34am Thanks Jon, not sure what was happening but it was moving my tabs by one, from the Monthly Top 10s so that showed blogs as empty. I have about 20 blog posts on the site, I've done my best to fix the blog tab emptiness, hope it worked.
Thanks for your feedback - I appreciate it. It also shows how powerful NING is with customisation. I hope you liked the http://consultoclock.com/jobs feature, even though it still is not getting much action.
Permalink Reply by Armani Rouse on July 19, 2012 at 1:48pm Hey Hadi! Im using the same Jquery tabs that you have on your site and when I click them on my site I get the same result as your site, they dont take me to where the buttons say they are for e.g. blogs, when I click this is removes my latest activity and shows me the music module on my home page. I tried adding the actual URL for where my blogs are on my site in the "href" section of the code and still no luck. If you figure out what we both need to know, let me know bud!

Permalink Reply by Armani Rouse on July 19, 2012 at 2:25pm I feel where you're coming from, im certain theres someone here who can point us in the right direction! In the meantime, how did you get the little icons next to your tabs and links? I wanted to added little icons next to whatever module name the icon would represent
Permalink Reply by Hadi Hosn on July 19, 2012 at 2:36pm Didn't do that myself. Had some help from an experienced NING developer/designer who is very reasonably priced. I can pass on his details via private message if you are interested.
Permalink Reply by Manuel Noya on July 27, 2012 at 1:25pm Hi Hadi, can you also send me his details? ;-) Thanks!
Permalink Reply by Thiago Santos de Moraes on July 19, 2012 at 12:32pm I think you have to put this CSS:
p {text-align:justify;}
because I can not image a professional network without the text paragraphs justified.
Permalink Reply by Hadi Hosn on July 19, 2012 at 1:40pm I tried that. Didn't seem to work - look at my Mailing list text box (pic attached).
Permalink Reply by Thiago Santos de Moraes on July 19, 2012 at 3:02pm Well, I did and everything is ok in my community:

I think the problem is the relationship between your theme, the font size and the number of columns.
