Hi everybody from Spain

In my desesparation I need to ask for Help, because even though that I pay for the premium suppot service, I wrote them 3 mails in the last 5 days and I have not receive any answer from them!!!.

The situation is as follows:

I have the hosting service for my ning social network www.guiasnaturales.com with Brinkster, who´s technical department deleted some important information with the result that the domain name www.guiasnaturales.com is not pointing to Ning´s servers, and no one can now access guias naturales.

Brinkster told me that they need to know which are the Ning´s name servers where they have to point the domain name... with out it, they can not solve the problem

And that´s is all I need...

Does any body know what are the name servers where I have to point my domain name?

Thank you in advance for your help, I am sorry to bother you with this problem,

Best Regards form Spain

Alvaro

Ps. To whom it might concern, I strongly suggest that Ning should have techniqual support via chat, Skype or something similar, at least for emergencies  it is very annoying to pay for a service and there is no way to comunicate with them other than via email.... It´s been FIVE days without a reply, and what is worst without access to my social network!!!

Hi Alvaro

This may help you - you can always check your URL in opendns by performing a cache check (for free):
See http://www.opendns.com/support/cache and enter www.guiasnaturales.com in "Enter a domain name to check"

Hope it helps.

Good luck!
Thanks Jonathan

I tried and all places return the same DNS number, I guess that should mean something.
Hi Alvaro,

What is your Ning Network address with the Ning in the URL? It should still display your Ning Network, even if your domain is not yet set up.

You shouldn't edit nameservers, but instead set up a CNAME record at your registrar. We have a generic tutorial for this here, but can walk you through with your specific registrar via the Help Center. Can you provide your ticket number?

Thanks,
Laura
Hi Laura

My ning address is www.guiasnaturales.ning.com but it is not working either because it redirects to www.guiasnaturales.com

If by ticket number you mean the number that I received from the help support center, then the number si 00D8cCLt.50049oLMH

When we set it the first time, it was done between the people from Brinkster and the people from Ning support center, I am tecnically illiterate which adds to the language problem... but I am willing to try anything.

Thank you Laura
Great - we'll tackle this in the Help Center. In the meantime, I've removed the redirect.

Cheers,
Laura
Great Laura

Now I can access via the ning address... at least that´s better than nothing

Thanks Very Much
