I'm going to show you how to fix the Facebook Inviting feature.

1. Go your network dashboard and click the facebook link

2. If you have set up your Facebook integration completed, click the Edit and Delete your Facebook App  link and it will take you to your Facebook app page.

3. On your Facebook app you will need to configure the

App Domains and Website with Facebook login field

App Domains: yournetwork.com

Website with Facebook login: http://yournetwork.com

4. Save Changes.

Go back to your network and try the facebook inviting.

You will first notice that the Find Facebook Friends link will work and it should be working

Nope. Didn't fix. Same problem, spinning load icon.

Have you ever set up the Facebook integration?

Same thing for me as well, still loading lol im not sure whats wrong with it!

same here

hey.. inviting Friends works fine for me.. it's inviting Fans that i have a problem with.. any suggestions?

You can't invite fans. Or can you? Is the new invite feature set up to invite fans?

I am having issues too... spinning loading icon.

Hi Emmanuel, my invite loads with out problem, this is my screen shot of all i did with the exception of leaving out App Domains. i also left the forward slash of the end of my site URL, i hope that wan't a mistake but it seem to be working, a lot of this was caused from using the same app 4 both sign in / sign up and Facebook integration.

once i had done this and realised the mistake i could not get the Facebook integration page to show a dialog box for me to create another APP, I think Ning reset the sharing features of my network and when i went back to the Facebook integration page the create new app box was there... filled it out and alls good.     I hope this has been just a little helpful.

so wait a minute, you checked off "app on facebook" but left canvas url and secure canvas url blank and it let you save the settings like that? Thats odd but worth a shot because what was suggested in this post so far hasnt worked for anyone and this is getting beyond frustrating, heres what NING told me:

My site wellkunected.com has "domain mapping" so the whole .ning.com I dont use so what I had to do according to NING was go back to edit my facebook app and include the url wellkunnected.com where it says "app domains" in your facebook settings and add the http:// in front of wellkunnected.com where it says "site url" but NING never said anything about leaving app domains blank and checking off "app on facebook" and actually leaving that area blank. But its worth a try once again considering nothing else worked, INCLUDING THE INSTRUCTIONS I RECEIVED FROM NING! I feel they rushed that invite thing and forgot most NC's dropped the whole ".ning.com" from their domain name a long time ago so to have it configured to where all of us would have issues using this feature is poor strategy on NINGs behalf. I hope your tip works, thanks in advance!

Hi Amani, how you travelling pal, thats all i did, I can send out invites although i'm not sure if there receiving them yet, I'm sorry to here that you to are having problems with this Patrick, i have had a headache all week.

No, I fixed mine today! It works perfect! You can read about it in my discussion, where I explain how I resolved it.

I tried everything, including your suggestion (which is what Ning told me to do), and still I can't use the Facebook invite feature. In fact, the LinkedIn invite feature doesn't work either.
