Flash and Javascript on Ning

I have a Flash thingy that I'd like to use on one of my networks, but I can't figure out how to install it. Is it possible to do this with Ning? I have this thing - it's a visual display - running on my regular website, and this entailed uploading a Flash component to a directory then adding a snippet of script to the page where the image is to appear. It works perfectly - but where would I upload the Flash component to if I wanted to use it on my Ning network?
I did a search for "Flash" in the Ning help center search engine and there is no information on how to use Flash.

which only requires a Javascript snippet to be added to a page. I've tried it on a normal page and it works perfectly - and looks great. It would be a very handy piece of script for anyone who wanted to display a series of linkable images - eg items for sale - on their website. I know there are hundreds of versions of this, but this one is probably the simplest I've found. But how would you implement it on a Ning network? Where would you put the Javascript?

The only drawback I found with this script (in terms of using it on a normal html page) is that the width is in pixels, which means that it would be a different width relative to the rest of the page on computers with different resolutions. I wanted the slide to run right across the top of a page, and the only way I know to do this would be to set the width in percentages (ie, 100%). Does any bright spark here know how to do this?

In any event it's a useful piece of javascript.

Ooh, that image scroller code is a bit yuck. You can do that without javascript.

The one I posted uses Javascript, which is pretty universally "recognized" by browsers, whereas this one uses the MARQUEE attribute which, I think - and you can correct me if I am wrong - is not recognized by some browsers. But in any event it presents the same problem: it only allows you to set the width in pixels, which means it displays differently in PCs with different resolutions. I want it to run right across the top of a page, but if I set the width in px this is not possible (I can get it to work perfectly on my PC, but on another screen it would not extend all the way across the page). So the question is still: Is there any way to centre this in percentages (ie %100) or otherwise get it to display across the entire width of the page (regardless of browser type and/or screen resolution)?

Kate-- you are 100% correct. In fact, the marquee tag is generally regarded as an "evil" tag and its use is strongly discouraged (the W3C has deprecated it and future browsers may not support it).

I looked at your js file, above, and to be honest it would take quite a bit of changes to support percentages. I'm pretty sure I've seen another version elsewhere that supports that "out of the box", so I'll try to find it for you.

Depends what kind of solution you wanted. Marquee is good enough for most. I wouldnt use that javascript its too messy. Flash or some tidier javascript if you want something better.

Just put the code in a< div>tag with 100% as the width. Float left will stack into it.

Why wouldn't you be able to access WebDav?
