I'm wondering now that we can practically white label our networks, and seeing as there will no longer be any free Ning networks, if Ning will allow adult (or at the very least mature) sites to return. The reason given a year ago for the change was they weren't profitable for Ning (as if tens of thousands of test and inactive networks were). I think it should be done. Network creators would be responsible for creating their own splash page warning rather than rely upon Ning to do so as was the case at one time.

I hope they will consider mature themed sites, if anything.

Thank you Charles. Had almost forgotten about this post. I wish Ning had reconsidered when they released their new plans in July. It makes no sense that we are responsible for practically everything regarding the content of our networks, but we are not permitted to have adult content. The revised TOS now states than nudity of any sort is not permitted on Ning, which leaves me in something of a spot since one of my groups deals with traditional African societies. As you can imagine, the photographers and artists are up in arms about this.
I have similar issues.
I've noticed. LOL Hopefully I'm the only one who will.
http://mensmokersuk.ning.com/ Is my group mate and is a great struggle to keep it clean and ning proof lol,, I wish they would relax as is getting a hassle i only have a 1000 members but is so active you have to have eyes at the back of your head to watch what is going on,, we all paying big money now surly we are responsible for our own groups

well damm it jim,lol..thats pretty much nudity..its states in their terms no nudity, and the girl in the photo is bare naked all over, maybe if she wasnt so nude ,she nude from top to bottom..lol

Seems as if ragots has deleted his comment. But goooodaaaammmmmm!!!!!!!!!!!! Was he serious???? That pic will get your network deleted in a heartbeat!!!!!! LOL

Not to mention, she looks no older than fourteen or fifteen.

No, the model is 22 years old. That photo had won a prize in a photo contest.

I did not delete my comment. I was deleted by a moderator here on creators. I am sorry if this was out of line, I did not intend to be rude.

That aside, now that we are paying for a Pro account, should we not have the freedom over what we should post on our network ?
