My main application of Google Apps account is to market my site domain as well as to make operational the do-not-reply & mail accounts so that if a user replies to them, I get his/her email as well.
But since Google gives you 10 Free Accounts and 500 messages per day, you can send up to 5,000 messages for free.
But for 5,000 messages I would rather pay SendGrid.com 0.5 USD to send that amount in a blink. But you can connect Google Apps free accounts with SendGrid and the game will change since message will be sent by SendGrid SMTP Server and not Google.
If you are fancy you can get a Private IP from SendGrid and hence you get out of the Black Listed Ning SMTP Problem.

i mean when member mailing 'keyword', such as how to 'change profile' 'advertise on the site' etc, google automatically replies them text, based on the keywords in questions.
ups, i guess its possible, if for different issues you set different emails (and put autoresponder.) ok
