Group Creator Dead Horse

I know we have all talked about this repeatedly, but we must have the ability to change the group creator.

Here's an email I received today. (I altered the names):

Hi Richard,

Hope you're doing well.  

On Nexus the Minnesota account is listed as "Bjorn W#*land's group."  Bjorn is no longer in the leadership of our group. In fact, he left under bad circumstances. If it must have a personal name sponsoring it, can you change it to "Heather H^*gi's group"?  She is our new chair.  If you cannot, I ask that our group be taken down.

This is one of the largest groups on our network with over 1000 people. I am going to lose my association with them if I cannot change the creator.

Boy, we have so been over this.  The last discussion about this topic had scads of comments.  This is an ability we are all clamoring for and no one is listening.  

I want the ability to show the "host" of the group, not the creator.  If a host leaves (under good or bad circumstances), we simply promote another member to host and their name will be associated with the group:

This would be very helpful. Because there are sometimes people who may turn out to be very rotten and perhaps a site owner does not want their site associated with this member after the member is deleted.

So many of us want this that we had hundreds of replies to other discussions about this! 

I'm wondering why it is so difficult to get Ning to listen to us when we repeatedly tell them that we not only want this, but that we *need* this! 

How many of our networks must loose members and money before Ning treat this with the urgency that it requires?! This is a priority! Come on Ning, this needs to be addressed *now*!

If I had known I wouldn't be able to change the group creator, I would have never used Ning.
