Having an Open Page in a Private Network, to promote advertising on Network

Hello,

I have a Private Network (besides the Home Page, when people click on any tabs on the Home page they are asked to login). I want to attract advertisers and put a public business directory as well as an Advertising Information page on my Network without having people login to see it. The rest of my network is private for the safety/privacy of my members.

1) is there a way around this to have open pages in a private network?

2) do you know a way to get around this? I saw on someone's network they had to link to another website that hosted a replica design of their Network (so customers cant tell the difference) in order for the information to be accessible.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
