My members on http://www.thefriendshipsite.co.uk are complaining, we can go to the main page of mind Jolt . When you click on a game we get this message.
The MindJolt games require Adobe Flash vesion 9.
You can quickly install this plugin for free by
clicking here.
When you have finished, you can click here to start playing.
I clicked on everything down loaded updates but still no joy.
Is anyone else having this problem ?

Permalink Reply by RM on August 2, 2011 at 12:00pm I got a follow-up from Ning — after identifying with MindJolt that this wasn't an issue on their end and following up again with Ning to inform them — that is disappointing for those of us who use MindJolt:
I've checked with one of our developers and the issue that you're reporting and we've seen other reports of is not related to Ning or anything we can fix on our end. Since the error is continuing to occur without a fix, we've removed the app from the Ning App directory recently as a decision was made to no longer support MindJolt. I would recommend searching Google as there are several other game widgets that you can add to pages or text boxes on your Ning Network. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Shouldn't there be an official announcement from Ning about this? What a damage? How far can we trust the remaining Ning apps?
This is a bomb on my network.

Permalink Reply by After Dark on August 5, 2011 at 4:57am Why is Ning blaming Mindjolt for this problem and Mindjolt are blaming Ning.... both stating they are going to remove this !!!! Im confused at who is telling us the truth and who is not caring about our members needs.
Permalink Reply by Alexander Molina on August 9, 2011 at 2:01pm The thing what i like most from Mindjolt was the ability to see the members activity from games in the latest activity module.
Ning could recommend an other third party who work the same in our networks?

Permalink Reply by Denis on August 9, 2011 at 4:19pm There are a few other games sites I have visited but they don't integrate with networks the way Mindjolt was. It's really a shame that there is not even a recommendation from Ning. The only reaction we got from Ning as far as i know was "sorry for the inconvenience caused"

Since this problem started with mind jolt, my member activity has gone down and continuing to fall. They are going to other sites that have mind jolt games.
“Sorry for the inconvenience” wont bring my members back sorting out the problem with mind jolt and bringing it back will.
Permalink Reply by Denis on August 14, 2011 at 3:26pm Same here. Eric has promised an answer. That was on another post regarding this topic recently. It's a tough time keeping and managing the teenagers on my site without those games. I realize what really kept them there was the long list of scores they had fought hard to get over the months. It gave them some kind of authority and seniority on the network since we don't have the points feature on ning networks. On the games page we could easily see something similar. With Mindjolt striped off my network now, old members see themselves brought down to the same level as new members.
Whether this is Ning's fault or Mindjolt's one thing is clear. The partnership between the two was very poorly done.
Permalink Reply by LadyHawk on September 22, 2011 at 4:26pm We need mindjolt back...soon. I was doing a mindjolt challenge on my site and it was really working to get the "lurkers" involved. Mindjolt reports it is on the Ning side...ticket was submitted today.
