hide words in latest activity! Please help

does anyone know how to hide just the words "blog post" in latest activity next to the share button??? Please help!

Hi Sandy,

Try this if you have access to Language Editor (My Network -> Language Editor), click on it and select your default language (US). Search for the exact phrase 'Blog post by' (match case). Edit the first result you see, it should be "Blog post by %1$s" and change it to just "by %1$s" without the quotes. Hit Save button at the bottom and then refresh your browser/network. You should see the changes.

for some reason it is not working.  thanks so much..hey if you look at my screen shot you can see that I already went in the Language editor and changed all incidents of Blog Post to Daily tips .  I must hide the ability for readers to post daily tips (or blog post as ning calls them)  i have hidden them everywhere except in the Latest Activity. 

I am a little confused I don't see the word by that you are refering to.  thanks somuch...any ideas???
