How can I make Group activity show up in the Latest Activity feature?

I noticed lately that new posts in the groups do not show up on the Latest Activity widget on the homepage.  This unfortunately makes the site look less active than it is.

 

How can I change this to show what's going on in the groups?

You can't change it obviously since you didn't change it in the first place. This sounds like a glitch, and it might work itself out sooner than later.

I'm not sure it's a bug. I'm thinking that it's a feature that Ning developers need to add to the activity feed.

We are having the same issue, but only with one particular group. We allow our members to create groups, and in this case, the creator of that group has left our network. Could that affect the posting?

Not at all, Jim. Despite whether or not a group creator has left, if there's still activity in the group, the posts should still appear in the activity feed.

Do your group discussions show up on your main activity feed?  If so, could you provide a link?

Nope. My network is currently on hiatus until the end of the year, so there's been little activity and no activity in groups at all. I'm in the process of deleting content and the groups are going too. Sorry.
