I would imagine, short of learning this yourself, you'll need to hire someone to customize for you. It involves coding with several custom CSS styles and files. In fact, about to create this for a Client, and not particularly looking forward to it. I know it's going to be a bugger. I will look forward to the end result for sure.
Sorry, wish I had better news. Maybe someone else has an easier answer, but I'm doubtful.

I've created several different types and versions. But, I've yet to find an easy one that my Clients can easily change the images and links. One of the power members on this site offers a good one for this. Only problem with it, most of my Design Clients want a little more fluff.

I have a gut feeling Ning will offer a built-in slideshow or carousel in the not so far future.

That will show how to add the hero box or space for the slideshow, but not the code for what they want to insert within - - if that makes sense.

Does anyone know a way to create the content module itself, like at http://www.womenssoccerunited.com ?

Not the code to get the box up there, that one we got (thanx John), but i'm wondering how to create the rotating images, thumbs and the whole function of the box.

I've Firebug'ed the box, it seems like it's a non-flash constructed code... but regular code like HTML, CSS and Javascript?


Any ideas for construction of a module like this is appreciated. :0)

The featured-content-slider.zip is the same slider womenssoccerunited.com is using not the one I posted on my thread. They have made a few mods to make it larger but its the source code they started with.
