Hi -

once I added feedly as an app to my NING network. Now since a longer time there were no feeds produced by this app. But on each new member profil appears, that this member added this app (OMN Magazine) to his page. How can I remove this connection / app as NING network creator ?

Thanks in advance for any help,
Jens

Have you already removed the App from your Features Layout and hit Save? I think that should do it. Settings > Features Layout.
I did that ... but it doesn't work. You can see here in this screenshot the OMN Magazine on the left side below - where all removed apps & features are listed.

But still on member pages appears a link that they added this app to their page. If someone click on N.N.'s apps >>> this appears:

feedly was announced here and on the NING blog - I produced my own feedly Magazine, then it was taken offline. Now I like to remove it from my network, but I can't do it.
Shall I send now a ticket to the NING help center?
Maybe, but I want to try and answer this for you. Some Ning Apps can be installed on profile pages. They are "profile-enabled" in this way. So, it may be that the Feedly App is something your member installed. But, I'm trying to confirm if this is one of those apps.
As network creator i installed this app (I created the feed) and added to my network. But I am waiting until you confirm if this is a "profile-enabled" app.
Hi Eric, six days are gone. But this app is still on each new member profile and older profiles too. What shall I do ...
Hi Jens, we will be looking into this, give us a few more days, thanks for your patience!
Hi Diego, thanks a lot for looking into this issue.
Hi Diego, how much few days? Today it is August 9th and the feedly app was recommended once on the NING blog and it was featured as member blog post here too - but this app is useless without functionality and now I can't remove it from my network again as you can see above.

Why is this app avaiable via a link - but I have removed it from my network to the list of features which I don't use.

Please tell me how are few days and if you can - how I can remove this app. Without the recommendation on the NING blog I think I never had added this app to my network.

Thanks,
Jens
Hi Jens,

Thanks for the reminder; the app should be removed from your network now. Can you take a look and verify?

Thanks,
Phil
Hi Phil,

I took a look. First: the APP is removed from the Dashboard >>> feature layout page.

- Enlarge this screenshot here

But I can't verify that this app is removed sucessful from member pages. New members (and older too) have a link below their profile photo -

If you you check this link for the APP - it is always the OMN magazine - feedly app. See here:

Have you an idea how to solve this issue?

Best,
Jens
Hi Jens,

Can you take another look? I'm not seeing the app on new or old member profiles.

Thanks,
Phil
