How do I place a status update bar ("what brings you here?" bar) on my user's homepage?

Okay dude didn't see that, I did it now, the text bow works, any idea how I can make the frame like a neon green?

Don't want to souns like some wise ass but don't you think reading the help pages first would be a good idea. We alle had to learn NING ourselves and rely on each other fot the special questions. Marshall, I was visiting your site and I noticed that on IE7 I cannot see the new sign-in buttons for FB, Yahoo and Google. Then I went to my own site and had the same issue! They are visible on Firefox, Safari and Chrome, tho. I wonder what the heck is going on with IE.

Unfortunately a majority of my users are still on IE. I created a separate discussion under Bugs and Issues as you suggested

I also had problems with IE 7 or older with my site.  It was not rendering correctly. Just advise all your members / visitors to upgrage to IE 8 or switch browser.
