Permalink Reply by Kristin on March 20, 2012 at 4:48pm I love it...I started my first community on it in 2009 for Moms with Multiple Sclerosis and it has absolutely thrived, even as a totally private group that turns away anyone who isn't a mom diagnosed with MS and doesn't have much of a public side (yet..I just watched that landing page video and I'm doing it asap!!).
I come from SaaS product development and have used other popular services like phpbb (so 90's) and yahoo groups, google groups, and of course blogs...nothing comes close to ning imho. I'm an unpaid evangelist who is signing people up left and right, recently my focus has been on using it as a private communication space for non-profit boards, and in the same way but for a larger groups, parents of kids at schools for the same collaborative purposes.
So yeah, I love ning and I do recommend it. This whole group could probably help you and poking around I'm sure you'll figure most of it out yourself as it is highly intuitive compared to other alternatives.

I have recommended Ning to a number of people. It's flexible and provides a lot of features for a very reasonable price. Periodically (2x per year) I'll check out the alternatives, but there is nothing that comes really close.
my experiences with Ning: One of the Bests Beast in jungle. Easy, fast, lots of variants, updated and with good support team.
