Here's a quick tip, if you've added the chat tab but you don't like that it puts the chat module on the homepage.

Go into the Appearance > Advanced > Add Custom CSS panel, and add this style:

.xj_chat_module { display:none; }

Now your homepage should be chat free, but the chat tab still works fine*.
