I've been spending all day logging back in to my network... In fact now that I think about it, I think I did yesterday too. In any case - before I could do some things, but now I can't do ANYTHING because I can't log in long enough to do anything. I just clicked on a group and tried to go to the list of forum posts... Logged me out. Logged in... Tried again... Logged me out... Tried again... Logged me out... And so on and so forth. I can't submit a ticket, obviously, because I can't even log in long enough to do that.


I did send my network to a custom URL yesterday, but that can't be the issue, right?

HELP!


***UPDATE 06/25/12***

I went ahead and called Pro Support this morning... They weren't able to reproduce this, so they told me try clearing my cookies, history, and cache... After doing this, my issues appeared to clear up.

Any time I call my cable company about the internet connection, they have specific steps to follow before they can troubleshoot anything (restart the modem, restart the router, restart the computer, etc)... At work, we're asked to log out and back in, then restart if needed, before the IT department can be called... For websites (and I didn't even think of this before now), you should have a routine before calling to get assistance (try another browser, try another computer and/or OS, clear cookies/history/cache/temp Internet files, ask someone else to see if they can reproduce the issue)... If all of that fails, THEN it's time to get help!

Eric - can you guys look into this please? I can't wish someone a happy birthday or approve new members or ANYTHING! And my admin sent me an email that I can't respond to... She might be unavailable due to computer issues so I can't even see if it's just me or not.

Janettee..we had this problem today with IE9--however switching to Chrome solved the problem 100%

I'm having the issue in FF.

Now one of my members is ALSO having login issues. I'm having a contest to try and get new members (that I just started yesterday!) and I really need this to be fixed ASAP... PLEASE HELP!

I went over to Firefox to try it out and I can't Log OUT!?  Works in IE and Chrome, but cannot log out in Firefox.

In any case:

Try this: Click on Firefox icon at top left>options>security>make sure the "remember paswords..." is enabled.

I had it set to remember my password, but I also log in through other accounts for testing purposes, and it seems that it was having issues with that... In any case you may try clearing your history/cache/cookies and see if that helps.
I would try what I suggested to James... Clear cookies/cache/history.
I went ahead and called Ning this morning and got this resolved... Updated the post accordingly.
