Hello everyone,
I am new to this network so I apologize if this has already been asked and answered before (didn't find anything relevant in the Forum).
Just made a mistake: I Declined Membership to 6-7 people who I intended to Approve. I hit the wrong button, and didn't see a way to undo it.
How can I access the information on these people who asked for Membership today and I declined, so I can Approve their membership? My problem is that I don't know their specific names (today we invited over several hundred participants in our previous conferences to join our Ning network).
Thank you very much for any guidance. Have contacted Support but given weekend they probably won't answer till Monday.
Regards,
Alvaro

Permalink Reply by Janettee McCrary on December 16, 2011 at 7:04pm I was just going to suggest that, but you know... I don't know if that would make a difference. If you've been declined... Are you really going to fill everything out again? There should definitely be a way to undo that function!

Permalink Reply by Alvaro Fernandez on December 17, 2011 at 6:36pm Hello everyone, thank you very much for good suggestions!
Unfortunately I have not received any notification via email regarding new membership applications, so I cannot go back there to see who applied. I will check in my Spam Inbox, perhaps notifications are going there?
Thank you very much and, should Customer Support provide a clear answer on Monday, I will happily share here whatever I learn.
Hi - I just did the same thing and my email to the member's yahoo is bouncing back. I'm guessing there is a typo in her address. Did you learn anything from Ning CS?
From Ning support:
"Unfortunately, you aren't able to go back and approve the member after declining their application. If you have the member's email address in your email notifications, you could try different combinations of the address to see if that helps. However, we don't keep records of rejected members on our end—sorry about that!
The good news is that if the member applies again, you should be able to approve them."
Really disappointing.
