Hi NCs,
I know this is off topic, but I really want to share my sorrow.
Recently my (3yr old) son's lower leg is fractured . Luckily, my doctor said, we don't have to worry about it because bones are not dislocated. And it will be fully restored after 5 weeks. And he can walk normally. He is under treatment now.
But I'm afraid of his growing age. Because I'm not sure whether his fractured leg will normally grow or not and normally walk or not. This point is badly striking my busy mind.
Now my question is:- Does any know any person whose leg was fractured when he/she was a small child and he/she walks normally now?
Best Regards
Bernard

My daughter went through a similar ordeal about two years ago. She had a double compound fracture on her arm. She had to have Titanium plates and pins put in. Like Scott said, children heal faster by the Grace of God than what we can imagine. I will pray for your little boy, you and your family. Everything will be Ok. Be at peace, your boy will be fine.
Cheers
Permalink Reply by Tyler Durbin on November 11, 2012 at 4:37pm Hi Bernard, my leg was fractured when I was 2 1/2 and had an over the knee cast. I don't remember it but have the pictures to prove it.
I have had zero side effects because of it. Kids bones are more flexible than adults. He will be fine :)

Sorry to hear that! My brother's lower leg was broken when he was 3 years old. He had a cast on it for a few weeks, but he healed up just fine and has never had any problems walking. He is 28 now. :-)

Permalink Reply by Armani Rouse on November 12, 2012 at 3:13pm Know this one may sound a bit scary but my younger brother was shot in his arm at just a mere 7 months old! He is 19 now and has a scar where the bullet hit him but he is fine, arm works perfectly he actually is a body builder these days! We were afraid when he was small because the bullet nearly took his arm off, but through prayer and proper treatment from the doctor my younger brother has grown to be bigger than I am in size and very healthy. Again a small scar but he healed fine. Your son will be blessed with a speedy recovery, he is already blessed to have you as a concerned and loving father. Keep up the great work Bernard!

I will pray for you!

Thank you very much Riccardo, Armani and Mat for your concern, care and attention. Now I'm more relieved. You know guy, I started eating more food than before and I feel so hungry now.
