I just created a network, and I want to be everyone's friend, like Tom on MySpace. Is this possible without manually going through and sending friends requests?
Permalink Reply by Eric Suesz on September 12, 2011 at 9:52am Hey, Shawn. We may add that capability. We've had a number of requests for this and/or the ability to auto-message new members.

Permalink Reply by Alex on September 14, 2011 at 8:04am There's no limit on the amount of friends a Network Creator or member can have. However, there is a limit on the amount of outstanding friends requests they can have at one time (which we just raised).

Thanks for the clarification. And oh look a discussion I missed! Off to read the friends request discussion! Woo!

terrific
Permalink Reply by Georgia McBride on September 14, 2011 at 3:51pm I've wondered about this. I think this should work for moderators or admins of groups as well. Members have complained re not being able to send messages to mods of groups they belong to unless they are the person's friend. Creates logistical issue for me since I have nearly 2500 members and the reason I need mods (more than 30 groups) is to manage member communication/engagement. I can't do everything. Thanks for making the suggestion. We need shirst that read, "I want to be like Tom." Would be our inside joke! :-)
