Hello Fellow Ning Creators:
I would like to know how to create an iframe on a ning page, such that I can link content into it. I have the content link, but want to create a tabbed page and insert the content within.
Any directions for how to do this are very welcome.

I have this site that I want to have as a tabbed page.....http://accessexchange.jobamatic.com I know it can be done as another site has the same thing. Thanks for any guidance.

creating the Iframe is simple but making a tabbed interface is quite a bit more involved..
here is how you insert an iframe
<IFRAME SRC="your link.html" TITLE="The Name of Your Link">
<!-- Alternate content for non-supporting browsers -->
<H2>The Name of Your Link</H2>
<H3>Ingredients</H3>
</IFRAME>
if you need help with it, send me a message...good luck

i also have a jobamatic site installed but it is on a subdomain which is actually better for your search engine optimization than iframe.. http://jobs.landsurveyorsunited.com YOu may want to consider the subdomain route instead...its much easier than the tabbed interface

Permalink Reply by Tammy Smith on April 27, 2012 at 6:15pm Actually, I used your information and got it into an iframe, but I need to be able to customize the page so I can use all three columns without giving up the columns on other pages. Here is what I have....http://accessexchange.ning.com/page/jobs-2

Your site is looking very nice. I was wondering how you were able to resize the text box that your slider is in? I've been trying to figure it out. The text box that i have my slider in is too wide, www.nawomenrise.com. Also I like the footer of your website. How were you able to widen it and add the social media information?
Thanks... I will be checking for your response.
Sylvia

Permalink Reply by Patrick Chappelle on June 16, 2012 at 5:55am Tammy is using the three column layout, so the text box on her page is naturally smaller than yours, which is a two column layout. The images in your slider need to be re-edited, you have two that are too small, and the others don't look clear.
The footer she is using is a custom job, requiring a lot of coding. There are several nc's here who can build one for you, but I believe they all charge a fee to do so.
