Image / iframe width on pages without sidebar

Hi everybody,

 

nowadays it is possible to remove the sidebar from a single page and thus "use the whole width" for that page. However, a full-width image on such page appears to be the exact same size as it is with the sidebar.

 

Is there any way around this, so that I could display a wider (950px?) image or iframe on a page without sidebar?

In your iframe code, make sure to include width="100%" and that will make your iframe the entire width of the page.

Thanks man! This works great! Also works on images, although you have to check that the image width is set wide enough. e.g. .jpg?width=1000 and then width="100%"

You're welcome! When I'm running an iframe for a PDF, I also include Height="1200" to ensure I can see a full page of the PDF on the screen. You can play with this number to suit your needs.
