Hey MusicRVA!

You can feature the following types of profile questions:

  • Gender
  • Location
  • One-line answers
  • Date
  • Multiple choice (when only one answer is allowed)

We hope to add URL shortly as well.

Is it recommended or beneficial to upload the sitemap to Google Webmaster Tools? Thanks.
Hey James!

We're not planning on making those modifiable any time soon, but we can definitely look at it down the road.

Hi, i'm still seeing the old way. How can I update my member view?
Hey Lasse!

You haven't added your Ning Network URL to your profile, so it's hard for me to check this out. What's the URL?

Hey Lasse!

It's private, so I'm unable to confirm this. You should contact the Help Center and they should be able to help!

quick question about sitemap. I know it will automatically be generated. But if I want to add to webmaster tools, what is the URL I should use to it goes straight to the sitemap?
Hey Leo!

The sitemap is located at the root directory. So it's found at network.ning.com/sitemap.xml.

Awesome Evan!... I gotta say NING has been reading my diary! :)
Dear Evan,

I am new to SEO though i am making all possible efforts to get up to speed. I recently changed my network from homepage only to all open, and was expecting that Google would crawl me and index the thousands of pages, but o far after 3 crawls the number of indexed pages appears to be the same. Is this related to the Sitemap? In Google Webmaster my sitemap seems to be linked to the activity feed. Is that a good thing? Thanks,
Nico
Will the site map work with a site that is only open on the main page, I am not familiar with a site map so i wasn't sure how this works, my site already is on the first page on Google with my keywords, so would it be any use to me!
