Hi All
I cant be the only one who needs to load more than 100 images into the file manager.
If Im loading the images via my posts or text boxes anyway whats the difference to Ning if they increase the limit? (thinking disk space)
We tried using an external ftp server to host images, that server just went down and so did the images, so long term its not a viable solution.
Im hoping to get input from others here to ask Ning to increase the allowance.
In fact why limit it at all?
While we are at it, folders would also help, a lot!

We haven't designed it to be like a typical content management system with folders and FTP access, although I can see how that would be more convenient. Just out of curiosity, you mention that you previously were using an external FTP server to hose images, but that it went down. May I ask what type of service you were using?
BTW, your network looks wonderful. Well done. I'm seeing that the outline around your avatars is kind of butting into the text of the posts in the activity feed, etc. Not sure if you can adjust that, but just wanted to point it out.

The reference to server going down was the ftp server of my client.(Im a web designer)
They use it for their other site, so a normal paid hosting environment.
The other issue with this which I experience, I am in south Africa and sometimes lines to the US or UK are slower so if images are in the UK and you guys are in the US response times and image download times aren't great.
Thanks for the compliment.
The site that I use the file manager on more is www.businessfightspoverty.org.
Its updated much more regularly.
Oh and thanks for pointing out the overlap, fixed!
