Is there a way to display more than one piece of information about a member in the ''Profile information'' ?

Is there a way to display more than one piece of information about a member in the ''Profile information'' ? Right under the picture of a member where it says his name. I need to FEATURE two information that he has been asked when first signed up. Any help in this matter is highly appreciated.

I also would be interested in how to do this?

and/or how to add a module on the personal page that would highlight aspects of the members profile like this:

I believe there is a way to do this and actually now that you mention it I'd like to do this as well and Im friends with a creator who I think may be able to make this happen...be right back lol!

Hi Armani - did you have any luck with this?

Hello Nick!

My buddy dave who I saw something like what you're trying to accomplish has been out on bed rest due to a mangled wrist he got from sailing (I see you're into Hiking, nice! Dave is an authentic sailor from Australia, very awesome guy I would add him if I were you :) But anyhow, I went to my profile page and saw exactly what you wanted to do just from looking and thats when it hit me! I have an idea for you nick and I want to see if this is what you're going for.

Ok you ready? here we go! LOL

Notice that the first bit of information under the members name is what? Their gender, and location and sometimes even their age but they have the option in their profile setting to "do not display my bday or age" so heres what you have to do Nick:

>>Go to your "profile questions" section of your NC dashboard where you set the questions members must answer

>>Notice that the "default" questions are "gender, age, location"? This is what you must change Nick! If your site is about a particular thing in which I see it is, you must add the question there, me personally I would simply remove the gender question and add the question that you'd like to see an answer to when visiting a members profile page.

>>YUP! Im almost certain Nick this would work as it only makes sense lol the question about gender, remove that, from the avatar you should be able to tell if one is "male or female" lol so add your first question there. Second remove the location question as it looks like you're not interested in knowing that information about your members but more so what their favorite activity is which I see what you;re going for here pal and I like it! Im actually going to try this myself with my "profile type" thingy that I setup on my network! :) Try this and come back to me with your findings. I figured this out off of thought so let me know If I need to further explain anything :)

Just added this blog Scott as you were replying lol this is actually how to do it! Check the link :)

WOW!!!! Nick wait a second dont remove any questions WAIIIITTTTTTT! I FIGURED IT OUT! Go to your profile questions and simply "feature" the question you want to show up in their information under the avatar I just did it on my network! Now along with my members location, age, gender, now it shows their "profile type" WHICH IS SOMETHING I DEVELOPED ESPECIALLY FOR MY NETWORK (had to all caps that as a lot of people here like to take ideas and run with them...its pretty sad but oh well! lol) but nick this will work, simple FEATURE the questions you want to show in that section under the avatar!

LOL understandable Scott and actually you're right we simply posted around the same time LOL but I took no offense to your post so by all means, you are awesome for your input! :D The screenshot I uploaded shows that when you *feature*  certain profile questions its going to show up under the members avatar instead of having to scroll the members page to the actual "Profile Information" module. Even if you have your members profile information module close to the top next to their avatar, that profile information box still has more info in it to go thru than simply being able to look at a members avatar and get the info you want to get. So the featuring questions is closer to achieving what I believe Nick was trying to do. I have a pro plan network Scott with everything enabled down to music, events and paid access so I'm not sure what network plan you're site is on but that's the only thing that I could think of that may cause the difference in placement of the information. I know my buddy Dave who I actually saw this information first displayed under the members avatar, has an older network where it still lets you use the star rating system in your latest activity! LOL it's pretty awesome and I asked him why I couldn't star rate anything on my network and he informed me that his network was built around a time that ning had that enabled on some networks depending on your "plan". This could be why Scott. And again, my blog post wasn't directed at you nor was it intended to cause any harm to or with anyone! What I was making reference too was the mere fact that a lot of NCs only come here to get tips and never share any, then you go to every ning site and there's "something" familiar about it from soooooooooo many others LOL so by all means Scott I apologize if I offended you in any way. You're a great guy Scott with a very awesome network! Keep up the great work pal :D

Makes sense Scott, and by the way when I referenced "avatar" I meant a photo of themselves, I just use the "term" avatar :D but thanks for the feedback Scott and you make it a great day pal!
