Is there any ways to automatically detect double topic post in blog and forum?

Hi Creators,

I am confused to process the same topic post of members. What should you do when you detect the double topic post from your members? Delete one? Very difficult to choose one to delete! I have also recommend member using feature Search before post, but it seem not to be effective.

Is there any ways to resolve the problem? I am so appreciate if Ning offer us "automatically detect and notify" member when they post the same topic in blog and forum.

Any idea, please sharing.

No such feature is available in ning as of now. Perhaps you can close the duplicate topic manually or redirect it to the original one.

One idea is to change settings for blogs to moderation. This way you will have to first check the blog and then make it visible.This way any rubbish can be kept out if the blogs.

I would redirect one to the other if both are legitimate topics. you don't want to delete a members post. encourage collaboration.
