JQuery Menu?

I really liked the look of this menu

But i don't know how to insert it into my ning site, is it possible to replace the default menu?

Any thoughts or suggestions would really be appreciated.

hello Selene,

 There is a way to rid your network of the ning menu and I'll provide that info for you after this, but in the meantime if you downloaded the menu in your link you should be able to add that code into a text box and customize the menu how you want meaning sub tabs and etc...try it out and i'll get back to you on removing the main menu

I tried pasting it into the advanced css or the custom code, but it just affected the WHOLE site, not just a small menu.

so, the download has a js file? I'm not sure what to do with that, and maybe its what's missing to make this work?

You will need to host that js file to your network

then grab its url and put in the custom code like this

<script language="javascript" src="file.js"></script>

ok i figured that out and grabbed the link and pasted the link over "file.js" so it looks like "<script language = "javascript" src="link"> </script>. Is that correct? How do I connect this to the other code?

ok my friends, I really appreciate all the tips and help here. Really really. Could you let me know what I should paste where? I'm a bit confused by which parts go into the Advanced CSS in the Design Studio, what goes into the Custom Code, and what goes into the text box. That would help me so much. Thank you!

The CSS or styling code goes into advanced css box, the javascript with the file you have goes into custom code and the code for the actual menu goes into the text box...got it now? sorry for the late reply, browsing around old forums here lol
