Hey NCs,

Hope you will be very happy after  successfully using my killer tip.

Instruction is very simple: Just copy and paste the  following code into Custom Code. You may want to change data-width follow jay's instruction here.

The Old Code

<script type="text/javascript">
x$(document).ready(function(){
x$("div.texteditor").after('<div id="fb-root"></div><div class="fb-comments"></div>');
});
</script>

The New Code

<script type="text/javascript">
x$(document).ready(function(){
x$("div#discussionReplies").before('<div id="fb-root"></div><div class="fb-comments"></div>');
});
</script>

thank you Bernard, excelent tip

You are welcome. Glad it worked for you.

It didn't work for me either Bernard, but thanks for the effort. I'm sure all the kinks will eventually get worked out.

Cheers!

Well, did you refresh your page? If you are page is running with lots of scripts then it might conflict with other code.

Why would one add this if the member who posted the discussion could not moderate replies? This is an essential requirement of whatever Ning do with third party commenting on blog posts etc: the ability for members to moderate what people say and is hence publicly displayed. Otherwise, in my opinion, you run the risk of members getting disgruntled that opinions are expressed on their content without being able to veto it.
SP

doesnt work on my site? help me!

Nice! Will it work on private networks?

I'm not sure but this should work in pvt network.

I have found that this is a no winner, but what if you are allowed to do it for your own page...and leave Ning like it is..I like it the way it is or I would not of got involved...with the site..

Is this posible in blogs

yes...it's possible.

How would you do that please?
