When people from other countries see my network for the first time, do they see my site in their language or do they need to activate some kind of translation? If they have to translate to their language, is this something that is obvious to them and easy to do? I am trying to enlist members from all over the world but am having no luck. I see people from many countries visiting the site but only English speaking people are signing up.

Hey, Barry. You can change the interface for your site to be in a different language, but it isn't yet possible to have everyone see their own language.

its lucky that the way the education system works that most people have English as a second language, i have a few people from France on my site who speak English good enough to get by and for those words they get stuck with and end up posting in their own language i get Google translate on the job and use it to also form a reply too.

The things is, its no good attracting members to your site that cant speak English or any other language that you cant speak because in reality you wont have a clue what they are talking about. so even if the site was automatically translated to their own, when they viewed your site, its useless unless the site automatically translated what they post to something you can understand too
