Did you forget to send a card this year? As the world becomes more digital every day, it's easy to forget about that old standby of the holiday season: the holiday greeting card. If you haven't sent anything to your community yet, consider trying these:
Jibjab.com lets you make funny videos with faces of your friends. It's not free ($1/month), but it's pretty high quality. We made one for you from the Ning Advocacy Team:
What do you use? I am betting you have a lot of great ideas. Please share your favorite holiday card making service so that others who may not have sent anything yet can do so this week.

Permalink Reply by David Deubelbeiss on December 21, 2011 at 6:04am I use Jackie Lawson, great cards. I sent this one, by message and also its on our main page slider. http://eflclassroom.ning.com
The nice thing about it - members can email a return greeting. Really cool and I got some great testimonials.
We also have a flash gift giving page. Members give gifts right on the page and message thank yous...

Permalink Reply by Vanessa Moulédous on December 21, 2011 at 9:02am Great post, too bad I haven't read it before I thought about making mine...However, this year, I wanted a community-based Xmas card to 1/ be consistent with the spirit of a community website 2/ animate the community 3/ get some more traffic. So I imagined a "Xmas'11 Greetings wall" where all my Members could post their own greetings in the spirit of Xmas.
If you're wondering what it looks like, have a look here. I hope there will be dozens of cheerings! Let's wait&see, we have a few days left before Xmas...
