Is there a problem with Ning and Facebook? A member alerted me that links to my network from my Facebook page were being blocked with the following message:
SorryI checked another Ning network I know that runs a Facebook page and they seem to have the same issue.

Don't know if this helps, but I just checked a few of the domains listed in this thread on http://blacklistalert.org/
Most of us, including Ning and the IP mentioned already, are listed on an email server blacklist (?) - thinking back to the problems we had of all those emails getting repeatedly sent out??
creators.ning.com's MX --> amx.ning.com with IP 208.82.16.68
ip.v4bl.org Listed! See why
creators.ning.com
bookofdays.ning.com
members.card-making-world.com
creative-connections.ning.com
voile-rc.com's MX --> *using a different IP to rest of us but omitted here*
aspews.ext.sorbs.net Listed! See why
BUT,
harringayonline.com/ - fine
bowesandbounds.org/ - fine
What in the world does this even mean??? on http://blacklistalert.org/ I have a huge list on there but it all says OK in green after each listing?? Sorry but I am just a technodummy!LOL!
I have no idea what it all means, but as long as it shows a green OK I'm not bothered :-)
Just curious about why many of us are listed for the same thing, whatever that may be.
Thanks!LOL!

I ticketed this (Ticket n°00723659), no answer yet.

Permalink Reply by Patrick Chappelle on June 7, 2012 at 6:36am Hmm. I wonder if that's what's happening with my network. Last night I suddenly couldn't access it nor any other Ning network for that matter. I posted this discussion, thinking it had nothing to do with this one, but maybe it does?
Permalink Reply by Franco Mercalli on June 7, 2012 at 6:56am Same problem here.
I solved it by resetting my Firewall sw: http://creators.ning.com/forum/topics/links-to-ning-from-facebook-b...
(but you have to keep on resetting every time the issue arises...)
Permalink Reply by Franco Mercalli on June 7, 2012 at 7:27am With Safari (for PC) it is even worse: I cannot even navigate to my network through the address bar.
