Is there a problem with Ning and Facebook? A member alerted me that links to my network from my Facebook page were being blocked with the following message:

Sorry

The link you are trying to visit has been reported as abusive by Facebook users. To learn more about staying safe on the Internet, visit Facebook's Security Page. Please also read the Wikipedia articles on malware and phishing.

I checked another Ning network I know that runs a Facebook page and they seem to have the same issue.

I'm getting that too and I have a huge event taking place on my network from Saturday! This is going to cause us tremendous damage if members can't link to the site from Facebook.

Why is this happening?

I have been informed by a admin that she too gets this message...but she can access the ning site when she goes to her email and access the site from there via the links.

I have not had a problem accessing the site, so far.

Hello all!

I confirm the same thing for

https://www.facebook.com/Voile.RC

Has someone opened a ticket for that?

Mine also, reported yesterday (post for cross reference)

Glad to see it's not just me!

Update:  how many of us are using RSS Graffiti on the affected pages?

and if not RSS Graffiti, using bit.ly for shortened urls?  From links above, seems those using bit.ly are affected.

I'm using RSS Graffiti, and I think you're onto something. Since this morning I've been getting a lot of SPAM accounts--not machine set up--for a casino. We kill them as soon as we see them, but if they're up long enough they end up in the RSS feed to FB, and have to be removed from there manually.

What is RSS Graffiti?

I have a similar report from last night. Would love to hear if other folks are using RSS Graffiti, too.

FYI, everyone: I have found a similar issue reported by RSS Graffiti users outside of Ning. Click on all the links on your page, and it does seem like only the RSS Graffiti ones are returning this error message. So, at first glance, it seems like it could be related to the RSS Graffiti FB app and not Facebook itself.

Anyone else seeing the same thing with RSS Graffiti? Anyone here NOT using RSS Graffiti? Would like to get some more examples to troubleshoot.

I don't know what RSS Graffiti is Eric!

All I'm doing is adding my link to my network in status posts.

Can you show me your Facebook Page?

Here it is http://www.facebook.com/CreativeConnectionsNetwork I did a fresh post so you can see what is happening. The link won't go through.
