I love the new ability to add pages to Groups now. It's opened some great possibilities we didn't have before.
I've run into a bit of a problem though in that on the Group's main page, it will only list 10 pages. In order to view all the available pages for that group, you need to click View All, which leads you to a boring list of your pages.
Does anyone know how to get it to display the full list of pages on the Group's main page and not just 10?
Thanks in advance for any help!

Thanks for the feedback. We had to set a limit on the number of pages to display, for performance reasons. Because there's no way to feature a page today, there's not a good way to decide which pages to show in that list. We'll keep exploring solutions, including raising the limit (though I imagine you'd have this same problem with 20 that you do with 10 today!).

I've been extremely busy & hadn't noticed the 'group pages' feature until today while testing some ideas on my network. Is there a certain number of pages that we are able to add to the group? I need to add "lots" of pages, so if we have a certain limit, then I may have to utilize the 'group discussion feature for what I would like to do within the group.

How are you using your "Add Pages" feature so well that you need to list more than 10? I'm having trouble coming up with an idea for ONE page.
Thanks for commenting Evan and Diane!
I'm currently treating my group pages almost like beefed up forum pages. Because Ning's forum section doesn't have a lot of features like typical forums, I've renamed the group pages to "Sticky's" similar to a standard forum feature. This is where I'm putting anything I or the group feels important enough to have listed all the time, and easily retrievable versus having to constantly search through the forums.
I have to apologize, I forgot to "open" up the site when I posted the link so everyone could have a look without joining. It's open now.
I have one group in particular called Concours d'Elegance in which I'm stickying all the rules and regulations concerning the Concours. Lol - Evan - as it stands now, 20 is what I need for this group. :) For now, 10 is sufficient for pages, but I can see a need for more as my membership and activity grows (keeps fingers crossed).
I know that I could get creative with the text box in each group by creating some sort of esthetically pleasing graphic which links to all the pages, but there doesn't seem to be enough hours in the day to get everything done I'd like to. All in due time I guess....
Cheers!

Permalink Reply by willowing on August 16, 2011 at 3:08am I really need the ability to have more pages visible as well. I run art courses on my site with about 15 guest teachers per group and would love to be able to have a page for each teacher on the side (not in the main text box section as I put a lot of other info there). It won't do to have only 10 up as they won't get the same exposure each one deserves. I'd love it if this could be changed. Thanks.

I agree with Mike to use the text box to provide an index or directory for the list of group pages if you would like for the list to post all on the main page. Also, if members are looking for something in particular, then "Manage title and meta tags manually (advanced)" is a feature that may help people to locate which page may be more targeted to what they're looking for.
