List of known or suspected mass spammers

We've started this list for our own use, and I thought it might be useful to share here. I will keep this updated from time to time.

You are welcome to contribute name, email address, and any information, about known or suspected mass spammers you encounter. Please, of course differentiate known from suspected. 

 

"Mass spammer" is those who post dozens of profile comments, or blogs, or content on your network, which are all the same. I do not regard members who join to promote their particular angle on our network's theme/purpose, or who inappropriately start promoting their stuff, as "mass spammers." They are members who spam. Very different!!! (Still not desirable, but not as bothersome to many members.)

 

It's pretty easy to spot some potential mass spammers and even at 100 new members a day, it's worth the extra step of screening if you set your membership process to include: verify email, captcha, and approve new members. Just in a short while, we've accumulated a massive list of mass spammer addresses and they are so stupid they keep trying with same names.

 

(BTW we have a map showing daily visits, you can see it on our main page anewgaia.ning.com, and we monitor when Senegal shows up, in relation to applications we receive!! It is just one additional piece of data we use to make decisions about whom to approve or decline. I'm sure there are nice, honest people in Senegal......

Here is our list. You can begin to see trends in names and addys. Some of these we have first-hand experience with, and some we got from a list on Creators, I don't remember where.

 

Sometime this list will be completely, instead of partially, alphabetized!!

{These words from one of our Network Admins:] It's definetely a spammer, I found her spamming on this page and also found another one there which i will edit it with it as well.

 This is the message she left all over the place:
