I would like to create a banner look similar to this...
My attempts have been unsuccessful. Does anyone have suggestions? Here is what I've done thus far...
Take 1:
Add the ribbon logo in the header section. Unfortunately, this causes the banner to expand the height of the logo. I want it to overlap the height of the banner.
Take 2:
Create a header that looks just like above. This worked and looked great. However, the navigation moves below the header. I obviously need the nav atop the right side of the header art piece.

Permalink Reply by Ron Fritzemeier on September 18, 2012 at 9:59am You could probably add the image to your header/nav menu, size the bar down and add an overflow to show the image or you could stick it somewhere random, like the ad-before-header box and then position it manually. If you aren't using the ad box for something else, that might be easier, but without a chance to look at the page in question its hard to say.
