Lost My Administrator, And A Great Person

This morning as I sipped my coffee, I check my messages only to find out my admin has passed away. She was only thirty-two. Her family says it was from a heart attack. Manda Pendleton (Queen of Brutality) was her name, and she was one of the hardest metal promoters out here. Her love for the music was unparalleled by few. When she joined my network, she was beyond enthusiastic about what we could accomplish. Though my members number less than 50, she was responsible for practically half of those individuals joining (people are signing up as I compose this discussion still as a result of her influence). 

 

I didn't know Manda very well at all, nor for very long. We "met" via Facebook, and she was the inspiration behind my return to Ning a few months back. Through her, I realized that if I'm going to involve myself in creating a social community, it should be something I'm passionate about. She flew the Metal Flag high, and carried her horns with pride. My nickname for her was "Queenie", and she was most definitely Metal Royalty.

 

I've already posted a eulogy of sorts at my network, but I thought I'd share her memory here since without her, I would have never returned to Ning. She was more than my admin, she was a great and wonderful person who I would have liked nothing more to have gotten to know better.
