Are you asking about first time Ning Creator and how to edit your personal network)? I don't know if we have one on here, but I picked up my network from someone else. I fijust played around with it a bit and got the hang of it. It's fairly simple and straight forward.

Or tutorials for new members to your personal network? This is a big thing I think many NCs should incorporate into their sites, especially if it is intended to be an active social network. I don't have one yet, but would like to make a video tutorial for new users to my own site.

They say experience is the best teacher, and that applies here. You can peruse the Ning Help Articles, but nothing beats a hands on experience. Click around on your network and find out what does what. My sister frequently bugs me about advice about these things (and she just joined Ning), and that's the advice I always give her. You're not going to blow up anything, and anything you do can be undone.

Keep your network offline until you've at least mastered the basics. It took me months before I launched my first Ning network years ago. It seems you need to study much more than just how Ning works, but how websites work in general. Your tags are all wrong. You can read about what tags are here, and get a general idea of how to use them in the future. If you don't know, you won't be able to guide your membership.

we need a video to lighten fears of members that have limited computer skills

I'm glad you were able to find what you were looking for, John. My suggestion stands that you might want to brush up on your web skills (not "computer skills", two vastly different things). I can't find your Ning, but your Tumblr and Twitter could use an improvement in the customization department. The proper use of tags is also something you should look into.

Please don't think I'm being harsh, I'm just offering some advice here. Keep up the good work with what you're doing.

Update:

I just had a look at bensfriends.org. Is that a Ning network?

Yes, Ben's Friends has 31 ning commumities

Oooohhh! I see! You've got a network of networks listed at the [dot]org site. Very good!

Thanks for the advice, point taken
