Member sign-in issues
I just had a sign in problem reported. I do not get the same experience. Maybe some one knows about this issue.
Every time I come to this site now I have to put my name and pass word in, and I have asked others and they said Yes they had to to.. What do you think is going on,not long ago I could not get on any ning It came through as ERROR So I feel like something is going on..ANY HELP would be great on this subject??
Does this sound familiar to anyone? I don't want to submit a support ticket if it isn't needed.

I did hear a similar report this week. Basically, people (well, the one person who reported it) saying they have to sign in more often where they did not in the past. So, it's possible. I would check cookies for one thing to make sure their browser is accepting cookies and not only for a short web session.

Thanks! I did mention that if she cleared cookies on browser exit recently she would have to log in. Will inform her of accepting cookies. I'm waiting on a response as to which browser it is.

Members are saying that Ning is no longer compatible with the new firefox. Can this be true?

Ive not had any problems with the new firefox and all seems to be working ok.

Which version of Firefox? Is it a beta release? These are the browsers we officially support.

Hi Eric,
The list shows support for Firefox 9 and 10, but I have had release 11 since the March 13 update with no issues.

She said she uninstalled and uploaded the latest version. I wonder if it is some default setting in the latest version of firefox?
I also had a report from a Chrome user for the same sign-in issues. I will get in touch with my Chrome user for more details.

F11 , for me except for the sign in question (that I don't consider as a problem) all works fine, but several members reported problem in loading page and in writing comments..

Me too I have to sign in each time and some members report that the site has become slow. About the second thing, I don't have he same problem

Is everyone who is experiencing this issue using the beta version of the new mobile interface? That seems to log me out quite a lot.
