As far as my knowledge reaches about this specific question this is not possible in CSS. With the code below you will hide the whole column but you lose your the admin options below that box too.
html.csstransforms body div.xg_theme div#xg_themebody.profile_6372582_MemberCategory_369885 div#xg.profile_6372582_MemberCategory_369885 div#xg_body div#column1.xg_column div#xg_canvas.xj_canvas div.xg_colgroup div.xg_3col div.xg_colgroup div#xg_layout_column_1.xg_1col div.xg_module div.xg_module_body ul.nobullets li {
visibility:hidden;
}
I am sure that this can de be done with Javascript.

Thanks for the special code. I may try this out. I did figure out how to remove the whole column elements through trial and error viewing the source code, but this would have been dubious if I couldn't reintegrate some elements and a customized link box. I was even able to figure out how to go single column and (with the help of a Jen Tip) install my own custom text box for links. Both are options I decided not to take for now, but it will be interesting to try the above code on my test network to consider more specific control than I had gotten figuring this out from scratch. I might be able to work around or reinstall the admin box. I will let you know how that turns out.
Here are the results of my research to answer my issues so far.:
1) Re-ordering these links is a difficult subject to find answers to here on Ning Creators. Most articles deal with customization of profile social displays- such as the layout modules . Looking at the code, it was difficult to find the commands for the specific link box and the specific links. One article about customizing or hiding anything on profiles left me with a clue I think might work- some code like NEW ARRAY perhaps?
2) I did stumble into some options for removing or hiding these links. From Features Layout, removing a given module from the site removes it from this profile link list. However the module itself is not destroyed- the absolute addresses for these module pages will still get you there, but then you might have to live with no link on profiles as well as no corresponding profile display module.
3) Incidentally, that is what I had done with my Discussions module. I thought it was missing from my profile links due to some Ning glitch, but actually I had removed the module from Features Layout some time ago and had been using the absolute address in a main tab on my site. Reloading the module did not have any negative affect on my Dicussion module content, and the profile link with corresponding profile display module for My Discussions came online.
* I set my Groups module to allow only me to create them. I think this may result in the module being hidden until the event a member joins a group, and then it appears on their profile list.
*I thought about direct insertion of links, which again is dubious seeing how these other feature links are integrated with modules/ module displays. I tried getting Jen's text box there, but it was too time consuming to figure out for me. One interesting thing I noted when playing around with member controls was that if I allowed profile theme customization, a new link would appear for Customize Profile ( I think it was), and studying the code for how that link got installed might be interesting for getting full control of my profile links.
*Not sure if it was directly related, but I had an issue reinstalling my discussions module. The count was wrong. I only had x discussions (including replied to), and the display reflected x+1. I thought could be related to a group discussion, but that's doubtful. I tested by adding and deleting a test discussion and ended up with x+2. Ning was able to clear my cashe back to the X+1 at least, but I haven't had the time to follow up on this further. I don't find it really that big of an issue to have a count off, but it could have something to do with what I had done. Removing the counts was another want I did not have much success on, but I do think may follow the same line of rules that drive these links and profile displays- so another clue on where to look further toward getting true control over these.
For now, I am making the most of what I've got. I have some other priorities right now, but will be revisiting this at least once more when I have time. Thanks!
Best, Anthony

2. Problem is that you can't get any html over there without script. I did not find anyway to specify this in CSS
3. I see what you mean, there may be some way as this is specified. There should be something possible if you look at it that way. A bit contradicting but to me it seems that the whole module is one big div..

Rowald
