Hi Fellow Creators,
While this is not exactly a re-post I do want to reference this post on the same topic...
http://creators.ning.com/forum/topics/changing-my-group-name
Thus far I have completed the name change portion of my plan, I changed my Header, got a new Logo, pointed the new Domain name (as well as keeping the old name pointed), I do realize the URL will never change from the original in the browser...
All the change so far was met with great response from my members...
Now here is my new quandary!
The problem is that I need to re-organize some of my content and remove some content that is not relevant to the new identity. I also need to have an organized "space" for Book Study
My plan/solution- I purchased a small Ning site -one with only 100 members capacity- To Organize ALL of my Educational material on. I also plan to use this small site as an "archive" for my staff OP-Ed's...
My questions for you-
1. What complications do you all see with this plan (That I don't see or know about)
2. Will I loose all backlinks to my original domain name? Even with the old name still pointed?
Any feedback you may have is greatly appreciated...

Thanks a bunch in advance,
