This can't be that hard;-) Hard enough for me to not want to geek out on it, tho.
Does anyone have a line or two of css for this? ty.
Looks like they just changed the background from a color to an image. You can change it in Customize / Navigation / Navigation Background. If you are looking for more subtab options, here's something I wrote that can point you in the right direction. Just get rid of the transitions, transforms & borders if you don't want them and change the image link to your own that you can pull from after you upload to a private blog or your file manager. Feel free to use the images I put up if they work for ya.
I'll have a look. Thanks, Fire!
By the way, does your profile image have any spiritual significance?
No problem. Nope, Fire Alarm network. I just play with my own images a lot :)
Cool! I easily implemented the code. It's great for the subtabs. Is there anything I can do, using this code, to alter the main tabs, or no? Just seeking clarification.
Oh, and one more thing. For the sub tab image, does the url need quotes around it? I'm seeing the subtab slide and bevel, but it's not the image i'm pointing to. ty.
I don't see why it wouldn't. Try using the same code in the tip, but change to this:
#xg_navigation ul li a
in lieu of this
#xg_navigation ul div.xg_subtab ul li a
Shouldn't need quotes. Here's a copy of the image part of mine as an example
background: url(http://api.ning.com/files/evAvJLfnnRx3cpjiR36OfzTCt9f9DZzWxdJJXNuR*oTSxdeh7U9K*IedJHuNTWSIR--vPqA0O0yF53rpYDKgTmr2WUD09h2F/OptimizedSubtabBackgroundBlue0d1962.png)!important; repeat scroll 0 0 transparent;
Glad you like it :)_
u rock; ty, my friend;-)
Very welcome :)
