Can anyone help me create a splash landing page for my private site?  I want to be indexed in Google and let some people know what my site is about but I want the site to remain private.

Are you looking for a premium solution or a volunteer? I am currently developing my splash page here, you are welcome to view it's progress over the next few weeks.

Most times I buy templates and restructure them to my clients specks. This time around, I built this from scratch. Looks like I know more than I thought I did, when it comes to building a web page. If you view the source, you will see that I am building it as clean as possible with plenty of documentation in the file, targeting all the divs.

This weekend I am working on the slider for it and menu bar. I don't expect this one to be finished for at least 4 week at the minimum. I have a few goodies I am working on that I will add to page in a few weeks.

You are more than welcome to wait until mine is finished in order to see if I would be the person to go with, for a premium solution.

I will provide hosting for your splash page and do all the domain mapping in my quote with a very affordable hosting fee that would run between $4.95-$9.95 per month.

I may be interested.  I know how to build websites with FTP using Dreamweaver but I am so overwhelmed with having to now remember how to do it that I don't want to spend tons of time doing it.  I want something pretty basic that gives NO member information on the splash page but gives a lot of info about the site.  Somewhere I read that all I have to do is point my DNS to my splash page.  I did purchase and have the domain name www.ladiesofthehat.net   But all it shows is the sign up page and of course not much there to Google.

Since my reply, I have taken on 3 new projects. This gives me no time to work on my own landing page. =(

Lets see how my own personal landing page looks in about 4 weeks and if you like the over all look and feel, we can talk then about something for you, if you are still looking. Does that sound good?

My goal is to keep it as simple yet attractive as possible. It is still under heavy development. I have a few ideas for it, I just need time to work on it.
